Q: Why do you call it decluttering, and not organizing?
A: Decluttering is reducing the things to create calm spaces that you feel comfortable to be in. This includes organizing items, but clutter you don't use or don't value is still clutter.
Q: What is so special about the Joshua Becker Method?
A: Joshua Becker embarked his minimalist journey more than 17 years ago. Over time he developed a success strategy to help others to declutter their homes and lifes. Joshua Becker Method trained professionals make this vast experience available for you.
Q: How are life coaching and decluttering related?
A: Cluttered spaces are often a result of a distracted (or cluttered) mind. And seeking calmness in a busy environment is often difficult. Finding a purpose helps to define what we really want and need, and will create the right setup to focus on what is truly important.
Q: How long does life coaching take?
A: As always, it depends. You can expect sustainable results in 3 - 6 months with regular sessions. More importantly is how willingly you embrace and implement the newly learned strategies. "There is nothing good until you do it."
Q: Where do decluttering and life coaching overlap?
A: There is a saying that a cluttered space is rooted in a cluttered mind. Well, I might not 100% agree to this, but a cluttered space definitely prevents you from finding mental calm. Your mind is just too busy making constant decisions and giving constant thoughts to the things around you. Having options to relax, being content with the moment and what you got already, are strategies we develop in our life coaching.
